Control panel for Roots blower
- Container for Roots blower
Electromach supplied a completely containerized control panel. In a restricted part of the container, two medium voltage transformers (6kV) were installed to transform the voltage to 690V. This voltage is needed for the main engines to control the ‘blowers’. The engines are controlled by inverters, also installed in the container.
A MCC (Motor Control Center) is installed in the container, to control the other engines and the heaters in the installation. The control panels, one for each Blower, are installed in the control room in the field. The (serial) communication between the control panels and the inverters is based on DeviceNet.
Ex-News

As of the next edition of our newsletter, we’ll keep you informed about the European and international standards for explosion protection.
We will also address issues, such as validity, applicability, development etc.
This could complement the detailed information given in the annual STAHL Ex Magazine.
See, for example, Ex-Magazine 2010 on page 4 the article "Ex-News".
- L101H
NEW: Signalling equipment
New on the market are these small energy-efficient, yet powerful, intrinsically safe panel mount sounders and panel mount indicators for zone 0, 1 and 2.
For the industrial market, the L101H LED beacon is available. With a prismatic lens and high output LEDs, the beacon is always easily spotted, even in bright sunlight.
System Solutions on website
As of today our customized systems ‘System Solutions’ are online.
Electromach can supply custom made systems for any application in the oil- and gas industry. In the various processes of the oil production you can encounter our systems.
- Transportation
- Refinery
- Offshore drilling & exploration
- Onshore drilling & exploration
- Onshore recovery and offshore recovery
Electromach can supply control panels for e.g. Oil & water seperator pump, rotary vane gas compressor (blower), reciprocating gas compressor, turret control voor FPSO and loading arm control panels.
Legislation Battery charging stations

The directive, NPR 3299, for battery charging stations has been renewed. Consideration should be given to the ATEX 137 directive, as of certain types of batteries may cause an explosive atmosphere when taking insufficient protective measures.
For example, the NPR gives an indication about when hydrogen is produced during the charging process of batteries. In combination with oxygen, hydrogen can produce an extremely sensitive explosive gas.
Therefore the concentration of hydrogen in the air may not exceed four percent by volume and the ignition energy should not exceed the 0,019 Joules. These conditions are required since this gas is easily inflamed. This gas is easily inflamed by welding sparks, electrical installations or hot surfaces.
